ZT1-200 type brake slack adjuster (hereinafter referred to as “slack adjuster”) can be widely used in fundamental braking devices of various wagons, whose design conforms to the UIC standard. In braking, the slack adjuster can extend or shrink with the change of the shoe clearance, so as to maintain the brake cylinder piston within the scope of specified stroke and keep normal clearance between the brake shoe and the car wheel, thus ensuring the braking force of the car and improving safe operation. ZT1-200 slack adjuster is composed of two parts – the proper and the control. The ZT1-200 type slack adjuster is designed so that train shock will not cause false take-up or unintentional pay-out of brake shoe clearance. And the brake system will not be activated in the testing of the way.
The basic role of the slack adjuster: In short, it is a lever, but it is made into two sections, one is made into a screw, and the other is made into one end -of -the -frame hollow "tie rod". And adjust the position of the nut on the screw with the changes in the actual gap of the gate, so that the total length of the gate device is elongated or shortened, and the goal of adjusting the gap between the gate to normal values to normal values is achieved.
